Data Deletion Instructions
This page explains how to delete the data associated with your use of Platiipus, the macOS app published by Gravitek Ventures, LLC.
What data exists, and where
- Authorization tokens for the accounts you connected (Facebook, Instagram, YouTube) — stored in your macOS Keychain.
- App data — your brands, connected-account records, and default upload settings — stored locally on your Mac via Apple's on-device SwiftData storage.
- Your videos — never copied. They stay wherever you keep them on your Mac; the app only reads a file at the moment you select it for upload.
Because none of this is held on our servers, there is no account for us to delete on your behalf. The steps below give you complete removal.
Option 1 — Disconnect an account inside the app
This is the fastest way to revoke a single connection while keeping the app installed.
- Open Platiipus.
- Go to the brand containing the account you want to remove.
- Select the connected account and choose Disconnect.
The app deletes the stored token from your Keychain and removes the account record. For Google/YouTube, the app also calls Google's token revocation endpoint so the grant is withdrawn on Google's side as well.
Option 2 — Revoke access from the platform directly
You can withdraw Platiipus's permissions from your Facebook, Instagram, or Google account at any time, whether or not the app is still installed. This immediately invalidates any token the app holds.
- Facebook & Instagram: go to Facebook Settings → Business Integrations, find Platiipus in the list, and choose Remove. Instagram Business accounts are managed through their linked Facebook Page, so removing the Facebook integration also revokes Instagram access.
- Google / YouTube: go to myaccount.google.com/permissions, find Platiipus, and choose Remove Access.
Option 3 — Delete everything and remove the app
To remove all Platiipus data from your Mac:
- In the app, disconnect each connected account (Option 1 above). This clears the Keychain entries.
- Quit Platiipus.
- Drag Platiipus from your Applications folder to the Trash, then empty the Trash.
- In Finder, choose Go → Go to Folder… and enter
~/Library/Containers/. Delete the folder namedcom.gravitekventures.Platiipus. This removes the app's local database and settings.
After these steps, no Platiipus data remains on your device. Videos you previously published to Facebook, Instagram, or YouTube are not affected — those live on those platforms and must be deleted there if you no longer want them.

Please note: because we hold no copy of your data, we cannot delete anything remotely on your behalf. Our response will confirm what we hold (nothing) and help you complete the steps above.
